Cinco de Mayo Chihuahua Sombrero Crochet Pattern 

Abbreviations Used: 

ch = chain

sc = single crochet

st = stitch

sl st = slip stitch

Materials needed: ½ Ounce Tan worsted weight yarn. Scraps of Green and Red worsted weight yarn. Size I crochet hook.

No With worsted weight yarn and I cook make a magic circle

Rnd 1: Ch 1 and make 6 scs in circle. Do NOT join but continue to work in rounds marking the 1st stitch of every round.

Rnd 2: Make 2 sc in each st around. (12 sc made.)

Rnd 3: (Sc in next 2 sts. Make 2 sc in next st) around. (16 sc made.)

Rnd 4: (Sc in next 3 sts. Make 2 sc in next st) around. (20 sc made.)

Rnd 5: (Sc in next 4 sts. Make 2 sc in next st) around. (24 sc made.)

Rnd 6: Sc in each of the 24 sc around. End off tan and weave in end.

Attach red yarn in last st worked.

Rnd 7: Ch 1 and sc in of the 24 sts around. Join to 1st sc with with sl st. End off red and weave in end.

Attach green in last st worked.

Rnd 8: Ch 1 and sc in of the 24 sts around. Join to 1st sc with with sl st. End off green and weave in end.

Attach tan in last st worked.



Rnd 9: Ch 1, (Sc in next 3 sts, make 2 sc in next st) around. Do NOT join. (30 sc made.)

Rnd 10: Sc in each of the next 8 sts. Ch 9, sk 7 sts, sc in each of the next 8 sts. Ch 9, sk 7 sc join to first sc with sl st.

Rnd 11: Ch 1, (Sc in next 4 sts, make 2 sc in next st. Sc in next 3 sts. Make 9 sc over ch-9 earhole) twice. (36 sc made.)

Rnd 12: (Sc in next 5 sts. Make 2 sc in next st) around. (42 sts made.)

Rnd 13: (Sc in next 6 sts. Make 2 sc in next st) around. (48 sts made.)

Rnd 14: (Sc in next 7 sts. Make 2 sc in next st) around. (54 sts made.)

Rnd 15: (Sc in next 8 sts. Make 2 sc in next st) around. (60 sts made.) Join to 1st st with sl st. Endoff tan and weave in end. Join red in last st worked.

Rnd 16: Ch 1, (sc in next 9 sts. Make 2 sc in next st) around. (66 sts made.) Join to 1st st with sl
st.  End off red and weave in end. Join green in last st worked.

Rnd 17: (Sc in next 10 sts. Make 2 sc in next st) around. (72 sts made.) Join to 1st st with sl st. End off and weave in end.

Ties-make 1 on each side.

Attach tan yarn to 5th st of ear opening. Ch30, sl st in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch down. End off and weave in end.

  Colorful Flowers Pattern  Materials Needed: 3 yards bright yellow worsted weight yarn. 5 yards contrasting color worsted weight yarn. Size H crochet hook. Rnd 1: With bright yellow yarn and size H hook, ch 4, join to first ch with a sl st to form a ring. Rnd 2: Ch 1, make 10 sc in ring. Join to the first sc with sl st.
