Abbreviations Used: ch=chain sc = single crochet hdc = half double crochet sl st = slip stitch dc = double crochet lp st = loop st dec = decrease inc = increase yo=yarn over tog=together rem=remaining Gauge: 4 sts in sc = 1", 5 rows in sc = 1" Materials Needed: Hot Glue gun. Piece of cardboard about 5" wide. Sizes H and 4 Crochet Hooks. 1 ½ oz of Red worsted weight yarn. Scraps of Peach, Black and Pink worsted weight yarn. Scraps of black cotton crochet thread #10. Cotton ball size of stuffing. Darning needle and scissors. 2 ounces of beard colored yarn. Hat Starting at tip. With Red yarn and H hook, make a magic circle. Rnd 1. Ch 2 and make 4 sc in circle. Do not join but do mark 1st st. Tighten circle (4 sts made.) Rnd 2. Sc in each of the 4 sc around. Rnd 3. Make 2 sc in each st around. (8 sts made.) Rnds 4-9. Sc in each st around. (8 sts made.) Rnd 10. Make 2 sc in 1st st. Sc in each of the next 7 sts. (9 sts made.) Rnd 11. Sc in each st around.
