¼ oz. Brown worsted weight cotton yarn
Scraps of tan worsted weight cotton yarn
Size H crochet hook
¼" eyes

Row 1. Ch 8 and sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. (7 sc made.)
Row 2. Ch 1 and turn, Make 2 sc in 1s st. Sc in each st until last st, make 2 sc in last st. (9 sc made.)
Row 3. Ch 1 and turn, Make 2 sc in 1s st. Sc in each st until last st, make 2 sc in last st. (11 sc made.)
Row 4. Ch 1 and turn, Make 2 sc in 1s st. Sc in each st until last st, make 2 sc in last st. (13 sc made.)
Row 5. Ch 1 and turn, sc 1st 2 sts tog. Sc in each st across until the last 2 sts. Sc last 2 sts tog. (11 sts made.)

Rnd 1. Sk 10 st and sc in side of last st.
Row 1. With tan yarn and I hook, make a magic circle. Ch 1 and make 7 sc in the circle. Tighten the ring.
Row 2. Ch 1 and sc in 1st sc. (Make 2 sc in next st, sc in next st) across. (11 sc made.) Do not end off Tan but do turn to work across the raw edge. Make 6 sc across the bottom. End off Tan.
Row 3. Attach brown in 1st tan st on Row 2.
Ch 1 and sc in the same st. Make 2 sc in the next st. Make 2 sc in the next st. (Sc in next st, make 2 sc in next st) 4 times. (15 scs made.)
Sl st into next st and end off leaving a long tail to set to towel as shown below.
Set aside and make the opposite ear and attach to the opposite side of head as shown below.
Muzzle
Row 1. With tan and H hook ch 4, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. (3 sc made.)
Row 2. Ch 1 and turn. Sc in 1st st, sk next st, sc in last st. (2 sc.)
Row 3. Ch 1 and sc both sts tog. (1 sc.)
Finishing
Rnd 1. Turn to side and make 2 sc down raw edge leaving room for 2 more sts.
Make hdc in next st. In the corner make hdc and 2 sc. . Sc in next st. in the next corner make 2 sc and 1 hdc. Hdc in the next st up side. Make 3 sc up next side. End with ch 1 and join the next sc. End off leaving a long tail to sew to face.
With brown yarn and darning needle embroider a nose on muzzle.
